Things To Do Paris – Public Squares

Here’s three very different public spaces to enjoy in Paris.

1. Place du Marche Sainte-Catherine
Place du Marché Sainte-Catherine is an intimate square with charming cafes.  It’s a pleasant space during the day and as it livens up in the evening, a good place for dinner.

2. Jardin du Palais RoyalOn quite another scale is the gorgeous Jardin du Palais Royal, which is hidden behind the walls and gates of the imposing palace.  The combination of the architecture and these manicured green spaces is wonderful.

3. Place Saint-SulpiceFinally at a crossroads in the neighborhood of St. Germain is this sunny open square with the fantastic St. Sulpice Church as a backdrop.  Sit on a bench and chill out for lunch.
