Somethings To Know – Sledding in New York City

Snow Day! New York is expecting 5-8″ of snow in the next two days.  So grab some hot cocoa and head to your favorite hill. Here are a few spots around NYC where you can take your sled for a run. For more information visit:


Carl Schurz Park- 89th Street, lawn north of Gracie Mansion

Fort Tryon Park- Billings Lawn (Enter the park at Margaret Corbin Circle where Cabrini Boulevard and Fort Washington Avenue converge)

Morningside Park- 110th Street, 113th Street and 122nd Street and Morningside Avenue

Riverside Park- Riverside Drive at 103rd Street St. Nicholas Park 135 Street


Fort Greene Park- Willoughby Avenue

Prospect Park- Near the Tennis House at Prospect Park West and 9th Street
