Somethings To Know – Duomo Cathedral Milan

From its sculpted ornate exterior (with 3,500 statues) to its jaw-dropping vast, dark interior, Milan’s Duomo is spectacular.  Begun in the 14th c. and with work continuing on into the 19th c., the Duomo is a combination of Gothic and Neo-Gothic styles.  It is also the second largest cathedral in the world – after you know where.  The Duomo’s facade is
in the process of being cleaned and returned to a beautiful bright white finish.
