Bogota Restaurants

We had dinner last month in the north Bogota neighborhood of Usaquen – a former village, swallowed-up years ago by the ever expanding city.  While the Macarena neighborhood of Bogota receives much press these days, Usaquen’s small streets and central plaza are actually much more active with small shops, cafes, restaurants and galleries.  We ate at Abasto, a sweet restaurant with a picture-perfect small market
in the rear.  The food was classic Colombian with a modern twist.
