Somethings To Know – Melrose Place Los Angeles

Continuing on our recent tour of Los Angeles, we updated the shops of Melrose Place. Admission here is pricey, but the atmosphere of Melrose Pl’s tree-lined blocks with
shops tucked away in small pavilion-like buildings charmed us.

On Melrose you’ll find NY big-hitters like Jacobs, de la Renta and Herrera, as well
as LA stars like Monique Lhuillier. There’s also Diesel, Alexander McQueen, Chloe,
Pratesi (soon), Maria Cornejo, Marni, Leggiadro and Jean de Merry (home).
Lead Apron and Assouline shops offer up beautiful books to fill your libraries.

Melrose is a mellow scene, there’s not many people on the street. However, on Sunday morning there is a farmers market where the produce looked and smelled wonderful.

Finally, just around the corner is a hot section of Melrose Avenue. The smart shops
here include Helmut Lang, DVF, Theory, Vera Wang, Karla Otto, Faith Connexion,
and Herve Leger.  More?!  On the adjacent blocks of La Cienega Blvd are Opening Ceremony and Catherine Maladrino Maison.
